Floyd Chester Verzinski

Floyd Chester Verzinski, born on October 3, 1943, in Pittsburgh, PA, passed away on November 15, 2023, in Saginaw, MI. He was a loving husband to Sharon Lee Giles whom he married on June 26, 1965. Together, they built a beautiful family and shared many cherished memories.

Floyd had a rewarding career as a licensed electrician that spanned several decades. He dedicated his working years to Edgewater Steel in Oakmont, PA until his retirement in 2000. Following his retirement, Floyd moved to Saginaw, MI where he joined Machining Enterprises and worked until 2005.

Outside of work, Floyd found joy in spending time with his family. His son Brian Verzinski and daughter Becky L. Verzinski Ed.D. were the light of his life. Floyd took great pride in seeing them grow into successful individuals. His love extended to his daughter-in-law Sheri and son-in-law James who brought warmth into the family.

Being a grandfather brought immense joy to Floyd's life. He adored his grandsons Seth and Jesse and his granddaughter Lynn. 

Floyd Chester Verzinski was preceded in death by his parents Floyd Verzinski Sr and Nora (Calley) Verzinski.

In memory of Floyd's life well-lived, may we find solace in the love he bestowed upon us and may his legacy endure as a source of inspiration and strength.  Cremation has taken place, and private memorial services were held.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the wishes of the family.
