Forrest “Forky” Alvin Davis

Beloved father, and grandfather, passed on Friday, January 20, 2023, at Covenant HealthCare – Harrison, at the age of 73 years.

The son of the late George Davis and Edna (Dale) Davis, Forrest was born on June 17, 1949, in Alma, Michigan. He was a graduate of Arthur Hill High School. Shortly after high school, he joined the United States Army and served as a Radio Communications Specialist in Vietnam, until he was Honorably Discharged. Forrest was a lover of animals, especially his beloved cat Harley. He enjoyed hosting Fourth of July parties, and spending time on his boat named “Jenny”. Above all else, he cherished his time spent with friends and family.

Surviving are two sons: Courtney (Jill) Davis, Chris (Olga) Davis; two grandchildren: Dmitri Davis, Milana Davis; brother: Fred (Cathy) Davis; sister: Linda. Also surviving are many loved nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Forrest was preceded in death by two sisters: Beverly, Betty.

Funeral Service will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Road, Saginaw, Michigan 48609. Rev. Michael Podeszwa will officiate. Friends may visit the family from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral chapel on Thursday. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center, or the Humane Society of Bay County.
