Frances Ann Browning

Browning, Frances Ann St. Charles, MI Loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and a woman who put her family first passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at the age of 76 years. The daughter of the late Frank and Stella (Pogoreski) Scott was born on October 12, 1937 in Saginaw. She married Roy T. Browning Sr. on January 22, 1955; he predeceased her on February 4, 2001. Frances was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, the women's catholic league, and the Women's Bowling Association. She was in the PTA and enjoyed helping those in need. She is survived by her children, Roberta (Joseph) Revard, Roy Thomas Browning Jr., John Grant (Shawn) Browning, Mark Stephen (Kim) Browning, Rebecca Marie Cook, Rachel Lynn Browning; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; siblings, Virginia Hammond, Marie Roenicke, Stephanie (Steve) Sowulewki, Raymond (Gerri) Scott, and Thomas Scott; and many other family members that she loved and adored. She was predeceased by her children, Timothy Scott Browning Sr., Thomas Roy Browning Sr.; son-in-law, James Arthur Cook; grandchildren, Thomas Roy Browning Jr., Andy and Arthur Cook; and family, Frank Scott Jr., Stanley Scott, Chester Scott, and Barbara Deegan. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, St. Charles. Fr. Nick Coffaro will officiate with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery, St. Charles. Friends may visit with the family from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
