Frances E. Polzin, one of God's special children, passed away at Medilodge of Cass City on Wednesday, December 30, 2015, after a long illness. She was 59 years old. Frances was born on November 4, 1956, to the late Arthur C. and Madeline Polzin. Frances was loved by all who knew her! Frances enjoyed music, shopping, and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her sisters, Rosemary Kohut, Marilyn (John) Gunther, Patty Szafranski, of Saginaw; Kathy Woods, Bay City; brothers, Arthur and Joseph Polzin of Saginaw. She is also survived by many relatives and friends. Frankie's family would like to thank the staff of Slade Home for the love and excellent care she received over the years and Tuscola Behavioral Health Systems for all of their support. Thank you to Medilodge of Cass City and Heartland Hospice Care for their care of Frances in her final days. Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 2, 2016, at the Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption (St. Mary's Cathedral), 615 Hoyt Street, where her family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. Saturday until the time of Mass.
