Frances Marie Cereske

Frances Marie Cereske Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at the Pine River Healthcare Center, St. Louis, MI. Age 94 years. The daughter of the late Frank LeRoy and Helen May (Binks) Maxham was born March 24, 1921 in Benton Harbor, Michigan. She married Alfred E. Cereske, Sr. November 21, 1940. He passed away January 15, 2005. Frances was a member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, Court and Bond Sts. She was employed by Saginaw Savings and Loan, retiring with over 30 years of service. She was an avid reader. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Alfred E. and Susan Cereske; a daughter-in-law, Diane Cereske; two sons-in-law, Jim Popp and Bruce Hoerger; 13 grandchildren and their spouses, Thomas (Kim) Cereske, Kurt Cereske, Eric (Jennifer) Cereske; Deborah (Mark) Nearing, Jeffrey (Sheri) Popp, Bradley (Tracie) Popp, Rebecca Popp-Barney; Suzanne (Patrick) Adrian, Annette (Sean) Murray, William Meyer, Michael (Courtney) Hoerger, Victoria Hoerger, Johnathan Hoerger; 17 great grandchildren; 2 sisters-in-law, Gertrude Gridley; Agnes Cereske; two nieces. She was predeceased by two daughters and a son, Frances J. Popp, David P. Cereske and Mary Belle Hoerger. Cremation has taken place, a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 11, 2015 at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. David Naumann will officiate. Friends may call at the chapel from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 10, 2015 and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
