Francis A Mckenzie

Passed away on April 15, 2025 in St. Charles, MI, at the age of 99 years. The daughter of the late August and Cecile (Braiden) Bauer was born November 7, 1925, in Kansas City, MO. She married Jack M. McKenzie in February 1944. Francis graduated as an RN and retired from Hurley Medical Center, where she worked with premature babies. She enjoyed baseball, knitting, crocheting and crossword puzzles. She was a faithful member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Hemlock, MI. Francis had many friends, and no one could be a stranger with her. She will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, husband, daughter and several nephews, nieces, aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her son, Alan (Kitty) McKenzie, a nephew, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Honoring Francis' wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 246 Raucholz Rd, Hemlock, MI 48626. Rev. Dr. William L. Morris will officiate.
