Frank J. Golz

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on July 23, 2023, after a courageous battle following the diagnosis of a brain tumor. Age 77 years.

Frank was born on April 27, 1946, in Saginaw, to the late Jack and Ann (Mangutz) Golz. He married the love of his life, Sharon Klein, on April 17, 1971 and they enjoyed 52 years of marriage. Frank was the life of the party with an infectious personality. He was a practical jokester that kept everyone laughing. Frank enjoyed going to the casino and playing cards, especially Euchre and poker. He loved to cook, BBQ, and ride his Harley any chance he got.

Surviving are his wife Sharon Golz, daughter Angela Golz and her special friend Korey, granddaughter Aryan, three sisters and a brother: Kay Dudek, Marlene (Sam) Davenport, Rita (Tom) Kirchner, and Larry (Mary) Golz; sisters-in-law: Sheila Klein and Kathy Klein; best friends: Dale and Marilyn Vincent; riding buddies: Tom Kirchner and Mike Oomen; close family friend Chaitie Beardsley, as well as many other relatives and friends.

Frank was predeceased by his parents: Jack Golz and Ann Thompson; step-father Fred Thompson, mother and father-in-law: Eleanor and Willard Klein; sister Barb Wargo, brother John Golz, brothers-in-law: Bob Wargo, Frank Dudek, Dave Klein, Bob Klein, and Gary Klein.

Friends are welcome to visit with the family from 2:00-8:00 pm on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at W. L. Case & Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road, Saginaw. There will be a time for sharing memories and stories starting at 7:00 pm. Honoring Frank's wishes cremation will take place following visitation. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider Bethlehem Lutheran Church or a charity of your choice or buy a scratch off lottery ticket and win!

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Covenant for their kind and compassionate care of Frank during his time there.
