Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at Covenant HealthCare, with his family at his side; at the age of 70 years.

The son of the late Arnold Paul and Mildred Emmaline (Bitterman) Tithof, Frank was born on July 2, 1950 in Saginaw, Michigan. Frank graduated from Saginaw High School with the Class of 1968. He proudly served for two years in the Vietnam War for the United States Army. Frank married the love of his life, Marsha K. Egerer, on July 17, 1970 in Saginaw, Michigan; she survives him. He worked 35 years of service for General Motors Foundry. Frank was a member of the Catholic Faith. Above all, Frank cherished the time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Surviving besides his wife of 50 years, Marsha; a daughter and her husband: Tara and Matt Poyer; two grandchildren: Kaylie and Kelsey Poyer; one brother and one sister: Glen (Molly) Tithof; Ruth Ann (Mike) Hargash. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Besides his parents; Frank is preceded in death by a son: Aaron Tithof; and a brother: Michael Tithof.

Honoring Frank’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Road, Saginaw, Michigan. Rev. Paul Hinz will officiate. Military Honors will follow under the auspices of the United States Army and VFW Post 1859. Pursuant to the current state executive order, indoor building capacity is limited, face covers are required, and social distancing is encouraged. We appreciate everyone’s efforts to reduce the spread of covid-19 in our community. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to a VFW Post of your choice.
