Our loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 14, 2023. Age 74 years.

Fred was born on December 31, 1948, son of Alfred and Laura-Ann (Seidel) Braley, in Saginaw. He married Rose Coon on November 9, 2000. She survives him. Fred served in the United States Army and was a member of the American Legion Post #439. He retired from General Motors/Delphi Chassis in 2001and was a member of the U.A.W. Local #467. Fred was an avid hunter, enjoyed golfing, camping, canoeing, watching sports and casino trips. He loved spending time with his family and adored his great granddaughter, “the apple of his eye”.

Fred is survived by his wife, Rose; sons, Tim (Beth) Braley and Peter Braley; step-sons, Jason and Matthew McMahon; step-daughter, Teri McMahon; nine grandchildren; great granddaughter, Brooklynn; sisters, Marsha Sherman and Brenda Stack; nieces and nephews, including his special nephew, Jimmy Sherman, who he loved like a son.

Funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Pastor Randy Larson will officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
