Freemon Owen Jesse Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Sunday, February 14, 2016 with his wife at his side. Age 77 years. The son of the late Cleona Ruby (Tessman) and Lawton Jesse was born August 9, 1938 in Harrison, Michigan. He married Judy Manning, March 9, 1957. She survives him. He was employed by Lufkin Rule and later by General Motors, Saginaw Steering Gear, retiring with 30 years of service. Owen lived to hunt and fish. His grandchildren gave him great joy, Judy and his sons were his life, gardening gave him peace. Surviving besides his wife, Judy, are three sons, Steve (Kim); Scott; Randy; five grandchildren, Becky, Mitch, Stevi, Emma and Camber; four great grandchildren, Connor, Sergio, Kaitlyn and Sidney; two sisters, Lila and Linda; a brother-in-law, Henry Messner; a very close sister-in-law, Shirley Jesse; many loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Miles, Ted, David, Dale, Leary; his sisters, Ruby, Goldie, Esther, Alta, and Lorraine. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Rob Richards will officiate. Friends may call at the chapel from 1:00 p.m. Wednesday until the time of the memorial service.
