Gary (Big Gary) A. O'Dell

Gary A. O'Dell Lake Havasu City, Arizona Formerly of Merrill, MI Loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather passed away Monday May 25, 2015 in Arizona. Age 67 years. Gary was born May 14, 1948, the son of the late Felix F. and Goldie (Johnson) O'Dell. He married the love of his life, Debora K. Huff-Ordway, April 25, 1987. She survives him. Gary was known as Pops and Big Gary. He enjoyed riding his Harley's, fireworks, and fishing. He worked for General Motors, retiring in 1999. He served with the U.S. Navy from 1965-1969. Surviving are five sons, one daughter and their spouses, Carey (Diane) McCrary; Tim (Christina) O'Dell; Danny O'Dell; Gary J.P. O'Dell; Todd (Jennifer) Ordway; Kristy (Billy) Vance; his grandchildren, Brianna, Dominick, Delaney, Danny, Alex, Malory, Angelina, Aiden, Troy, Kayli, Isabelle, Lukas, Brittany, Billy, Ashley, Jeremy, Justin; his great grandchildren, Liam, Maria, Mason, Lilly, Devin, Ethan, Jeremy Jr; a sister and her husband, Barbara A. (Randy L.) Reinke; his mother-in-law, Deanna Watson; several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Gary was predeceased by his parents, a brother, Danny L. O'Dell and a grandson, Brett Vance. Cremation has taken place in Arizona. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 2015, at Center Rd. Church of Christ, 1325 N. Center Rd.
