Gary Edward Reimus

Reimus, Gary Edward Saginaw, MI Passed away Friday, July 3, 2015 at his home, age 74 years. Gary was born in Saginaw, Michigan June 14, 1941 the son of the late Kenneth John and Margaret (Linsday) Reimus. He married Ruth Ann Simmet July 18, 1964. She predeceased him June 17, 2004. Gary served in the United States Army. He loved hunting, fishing, bowling and was an avid Detroit Tigers and Detroit Red Wings fan. He also enjoyed going to the casino. Gary is survived by two children, Michelle (David) Schornick and Michael (Tammy) Reimus; five grandchildren, Eric (Cory) Hill, Robert (Emily) Hill, Justin Hill, Alyssa Reimus and Brendan Reimus; seven great-grandchildren, Riley, Jaxon, Maximus, McKenzie, Jaycob, Khloe and Braedyn; two brothers, Terry (Shirley) Reimus and Brian Reimus; three sisters, Kathy (Ed) Kimbrue, Sherry Kateel and Janie Mendoza; a brother-in-law, Dr. Chai Soontharotoke and a sister-in-law, Sylvia Reimus. In addition to his wife, Gary was predeceased by a brother, John Reimus and a sister, Shelly Soontharotoke. The funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Rob Richards will officiate with burial in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family at the chapel Tuesday from 5:00 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service.
