Gary Floyd Jackson Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Saturday, February 15, 2014, at his home. Age 66 years. The son of the late Howard and Marilyn (Nason) Jackson and his step-mother, Roberta Jackson, was born August 10, 1947 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Linda K. Wagner, April 5, 1969. She survives him. Gary served with the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War and was employed with the City of Saginaw Parks and Recreation Division, retiring in 1996 with 30 years of service. He then worked for Sunoco retiring after 12 years of service. He enjoyed bowling, camping, hunting, fishing and going to the casino. He coached softball for several years. Surviving besides his wife, Linda, and his step-mother, Roberta, are a daughter, a son and their spouses, Melissa and Michael Srda, Clio, MI; Daniel and Trisha Jackson, Freeland, MI; four grandchildren, Karlee, Hayden, Joshua and Haven; his sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Al Wyse, Florida; many step-brothers, step-sisters; nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 21, 2014, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Military honors under the auspices of V.F.W. Post #1859. Friends may call at the Chapel from 11:00 a.m. Friday until the time of the memorial service.
