George Kristoffer Skentzos

Skentzos, George Kristoffer Lansing, MI (formerly of Saginaw, MI) Passed away Monday, August 11, 2014, age 40 years. Kristoffer was born in Saginaw, Michigan October 5, 1973 the son of Sandra (Frey) and the late George Skentzos. He married Ami Ewald June 1, 2002 and she survives him. Kristoffer was an avid reader and loved playing music. He enjoyed collecting Star Wars memorabilia. Kristoffer was a wonderful father and a friend to everyone he met. In addition to his wife, Ami Ewald Skentzos, Kristoffer is survived by his son, Henry Ewald Skentzos; his mother, Sandra Skentzos; two siblings, Paul (Amy) Skentzos and Philip Skentzos (and his friend, Linda Martin); his mother-in-law, Maxine Ewald Dusek; grandmother-in-law, Donna Kristalyn; a brother-in-law, Kenneth Ewald; his God-mother, Joyce Coulouris; several aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces. He was predeceased by his father, George Skentzos and his father-in-law, Kenneth Ewald. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 16, 2014 at W. L. Case & Company, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Friends may visit with the family Saturday at the chapel from 12:00 noon until time of the service.
