George William Fry Sr.

George William Fry Sr. Akron, Michigan The angels took George home to the Lord on April 24, 2015, at the age of 72 years. George was born September 8, 1942, in Bay City, Michigan. He married Carol D. Ahearn on September 5, 1964; she survives him. He retired from General Motors after 33 years of service. He enjoyed being in the outdoors, hunting, fishing, rock and gem collecting, and camping. Besides his wife of 50 years he is survived by his children, George William Fry Jr., Lori (Antonio) Espinoza, Renee (Dan) Orton; seven grandchildren, Shane (Brandi) Fry, Joey (Kristen) Ruiz, Jarod Ruiz, Tia Ruiz, Tyler Orton, Makalie Orton, and Nicole Orton; three great-grandchildren, Zadie, Maggie, and Brentlee; sibings, John (Barbara) Fry, Richard Fry, Mike Migut, Sonny (Mary Lou) Migut, and Nancy Balenda; the family of Harold Klass; sister-in-law, Karen (Fry) Kata; many nieces, nephews, and extended family; and good friend, Reed (Nancy) Swanton. He was predeceased by his mother, Mildred (Greenleaf) Klass; father George Fry Sr.; siblings, Geraldine Fry, Robert Fry and Gloria Balenda. A memorial mass will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 23, 2015, at Holy Family Church (Our Lady of Consolata Parish) 8370 Unionville Rd. Sebewaing, MI 48759.
