Georgianna Dell (Wenzel) Schultz

Schultz, Georgianna D. (Wenzel) Saginaw, Michigan Was welcomed into Heaven by Jesus and the love of her life, Arthur Schultz, on Sunday, January 7, 2018. With tears of joy, we celebrate Georgiannas life. A member of "The Greatest Generation," she lived through the Depression and World War II. She was born in Merrill, Michigan, to George and Hazel Wenzel. Her living Wenzel brothers include: Ken (Millie - deceased), Dale (Mary Ellen), Richard (Gracie), Archie (Gloria), Danny (Garnet - deceased), David (Nancy), Gerald (Joyce - deceased) and Ben (Lana). Deceased siblings include: Warren (Lillian) Wenzel, Lila (Lowell) Doehring, Barbara (Clyde) McClosky. She married Arthur G. Schultz on April 19, 1941. Together, they raised seven children: David (Jennie) Schultz, Rosemary (Bob) Stafford, Ron (Lori) Schultz, Darold (Jeanne) Schultz, Tim (Mary Ann) Schultz, and was predeceased by Janice D. Schultz and Crystal Patrick. Grandchildren are Tamara (Mike) Deboer, Shari (Jeff) Bailey, Robert (Lois) Stafford, Aaron (Leanne) Stafford, Jarrod Schultz, Buffy (Joe) Nespodzany, Trevor (Kadie) Schultz, Emily (Chris) Morse, Brandon Schultz and Jordan (Jackie) Schultz. Great-grandchildren are: Nicholas, Lauren, Edwin, Valerie, Tyler, Gavin, Nathan, Aubrey, Carter, Austin, Savannah and Brody, and one great-great-grandson, Bryson. Georgianna was resilient, hard-working, loving and frugal. Family was most important! She was also very successful as an Avon lady for 40 years and an ardent TOPS member, making many life-long friends. She was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church. Also, she was an avid flower gardener and a Marv Herzog Polka enthusiast. Funeral service will take place at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, January 11, 2018, at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 8795 Ederer Road, where her family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. Thursday until the time of service. Rev. Joshua J. Becker will officiate. Committal services will take place at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
