Gerald "Jerry" Lee Ramsden

Passed away on Monday, August 20, 2018. Age 86 years. He was born on August 21, 1931, son of the late Veronica McKenna (Black) and Adrian Ramsden. Jerry raised by Veronica and Don McKenna, in St. Charles, MI. Jerry married Elizabeth (Betty) Davis on December 29, 1983. She predeceased him on December 25, 1998. He retired from Delphi Steering after many years of service and was a member of the U.A.W. Local #699. He was also a member of the Brothers of Kosciusko and a past member of the Bridgeport Gun Club, where he enjoyed shooting range. Jerry loved being outdoors, boating and most of all riding his Harley. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Jerry will be missed by his many surviving family members including his three daughters from his first marriage to Marguerite Ramsden, nee Young; Linda Reinbold (spouse George) of Interlochen; MI, Lori Kuelske (spouse Emil) of Mason; MI, Lisa Kenney (spouse Gerry) of Colleyville, TX; step children Deborah and Wilbert Hare, Katie and John Hess, Jennifer and Bruce Hess, all of Saginaw, Cyndi and Rich Burns of Shepherd, MI, Michelle and Jim Young of Tuttle, OK and Paul Parrish of Midland, MI; 24 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Jerry is also survived by his three sisters, Joan McCoy and Chris Lisee of Saginaw, MI and Mary Alice Miller of Knoxville, TN. Besides his wife Elizabeth and his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter, Debra Ramsden, his grandson, Joshua Taylor Young and his daughter-in-law, Beth Parrish. Honoring Jerrys wishes cremation has taken place. There will be no public services scheduled. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the American Cancer Society or a charity of donors choice in Jerrys memory.
