Geraldine "Gerry" Greer

Greer, Geraldine (Gerry) Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017 at the Cartwright Hospice Residence at the age of 87 years. Geraldine Hall was born April 3, 1929 in Saginaw, the daughter of the late Leward and Zilda Hall. She married John Greer on June 17, 1948; he predeceased her May 21, 2003. Gerry was a minister's wife for 41 years, serving with her husband at several Methodist Churches in Michigan. She was a life-long member of the Methodist Church and was currently a member of First United Methodist Church, 4790 Gratiot Rd. She is survived by five daughters and one son, Bonnie Davenport, Saginaw; Judith Greer (Charles Mills), Dundee; Janice Leonard, Clearwater, Florida; Karen and Mark Peters, Kalamazoo; Jackie and Rob Diamond, Lapeer; Craig Greer, Davison; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; her brother-in-law, Dan Greer, Florida. She was predeceased by her brother, Leward Hall, Jr., and her sister, Maxine Miller. Memorial service will take place at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 18, 2017, at First United Methodist Church, 4790 Gratiot Rd. Rev. Amy Brun Terhune will officiate.
