Glenan Midcalf

Midcalf, Glenan Saginaw, MI Passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Cartwright Care Center, age 75 years. Glenan was born in Saginaw, MI October 6, 1938 the daughter of the late Glen and Anna (Pewinski) Hayes. She married Ken Midcalf, Sr. December 28, 1991. He predeceased her December 31, 2006. Glenan was a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Her family and her church were the most important things in her life. Glenan is survived by six children, Joe (Cheryl) Humpert, Anna (Brian) Pitt, Mary (Jerry) Fruk, Jim (Donna) Humpert, Dave (Theresa) Humpert and Ed (Danielle) Humpert; four Midcalf step-children, Ken, Carrie, Debbie and T.J.; 24 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a special niece, Colleen (John) Newvine-Tubeau. In addition to her husband, Glenan was predeceased by a step-daughter, Christine and two sisters, Barb Newsted and Linda Newvine-Pussehl. The funeral liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 4735 W. Michigan Ave. Friends may visit with the family at the church Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of the service.
