Glenn Erskine

Erskine, Glenn Hemlock, MI Beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 09, 2017 at the age of 79 years. The son of the late R. Eugene and Hattie (Schwartz) Erskine was born on May 22, 1937 in Hemlock. He married Dorothy Kaltenbach on July 27, 1957; she survives him. Glenn was a member of St. John XXIII Parish, St. Mary Catholic Church. He enjoyed golfing, baseball, hunting, bowling, dancing and most especially spending time with his grandchildren and going to their sporting events. Surviving besides his wife Dorothy, are their children: Timothy (Lori) Erskine, Terry (Tami) Erskine, Sandra Burns, Susan Erskine, son-in-law Michael Schultz, grandchildren: Timothy Jr., Christie (Mike), Jonathan, Maranda (John), Terry, Tony, Teddy, Michael (Ashley), Cassie (Tristan), Shannon, Craig, Andrew, Jessica, McKayla, 16 great-grandchildren, brother Dale (Joan) Erskine, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his daughter Cynthia Schultz, grandson Gregory Schultz, sisters-in-laws: Eleanor (Anthony) Czymbor, Ruth (Frank) Czymbor, and brother-in-law: Edward Kaltenbach. Memorial liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 16, 2017 at St. John XXIII Parish, St. Mary Catholic Church in Hemlock. Fr. Dennis J. Kucharczyk will officiate. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial mass.
