Grace A. Hamling

Passed away on Friday, November 03, 2017 at the age of 92 years. The daughter of the late Cyrille and Mary (Archambault) Borrow was born on June 17, 1925 in Saginaw. She married Stanley W. Hamling on June 9, 1945; he predeceased her on April 29, 1982. She was a member of St. Dominic Parish, St. Stephen Church. Grace was dedicated to the Sacred Heart and Blessed Virgin Mary and was a devoted catholic. Surviving are her children: Duane (Janet) Hamling, Veronica (Tom) Smith, Gregory (Rebecca) Hamling, Mary (Don) Schiebner, Larry (Margaret) Hamling, 16 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren with one on the way, and 2 great-great grandchildren. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by 9 siblings. Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at St. Dominic Parish, St. Stephen Catholic Church, 2711 Mackinaw Street. Fr. Steve Gavit will officiate with burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Monday from 2:00-6:00 p.m. where a Rosary will be prayed at 5:30 p.m. Friends may also visit with the family at church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral liturgy.
