Grace E. Favel

Grace E. Favel Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Sunday, May 5, 2013, at Hoyt Nursing and Rehab Center. Age 95 years. Grace was born December 4, 1917 in Ontario, Canada, the daughter of the late John and Ethel (Imeson) Morrison. She married Richard Favel, July 23, 1937. He passed away March 14, 1990. She retired from the Bridgeport Community Schools in 1974 after 22 years of service. She was a member of the Eastern Stars and Country Side Trinity Church. Surviving are one son, Odin Favel; six grandchildren, Pamela (Pat) McCormick; Bill Favel and his fianc Michelle; Angela Favel; John Miller; Diane Miller; Shelly Lewis; four great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; one sister, Ethel Schreader; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter and son-in-law, Ethelyn and Jack Miller; a son and daughter-in-law, John B. and Sally Favel; a grandson, Jack Miller and a brother, George Morrison. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw RD. Rev. Ken Parker will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the Chapel from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday.
