Grace J. Genske

Genske, Grace J. Saginaw, Michigan Went to be with her Savior on Tuesday, September 15, 2015, age 89 years. Grace was born on April 20, 1926, daughter of the late Carl and Lillian (Ederer) Sperry, in Saginaw. She married Howard H. Genske on September 21, 1946, he predeceased her on September 22, 2008. She was a longtime member of St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church. Surviving are her children, Renae (William) Bunker of St. Charles, Andrea (Kent) Pyscher of Saginaw, Leonard Genske of Colorado Springs, CO and Valerie Finney of Midland; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Ann Burns, Elaine Middledorf, Lucy LaFreniere, and Christine Forbes; and one brother, David Sperry. Besides her parents and husband Howard, Grace was predeceased by her sister Carolyn Mason. A memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 22, 2015, at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church 1020 Court Street. Rev. William Brassow will officiate. Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place.
