Gregorio Rivera Rodriguez Saginaw, Michigan Our beloved husband, father, and grandfather went home to the Lord on Friday, February 24, 2017, at the age of 79 years. Gregorio was born June 11, 1937, in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico to the late Antolin and Petra (Rodriguez) Rivera. He was a hardworking, selfless, kind man and was affectionately known as a "jack of all trades". He had a great sense of humor and was a dedicated family man. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 34 years Lucy (Gutierrez) Rodriguez; children, Maria Luisa (Alonzo) Humphrey, Gregorio Rodriguez Jr., Vincent and Enrique Rodriguez and their families; granddaughter, Amaya Humphrey; siblings, Maria Milagro Ortiz, Carmen Gloria Rivera, Jose Luis Hernandez, Luis Manuel Hernandez, and Luisa Hieda Hernandez; sister-in-law, Susie Gutierrez; special nephew, Armando Cervantes; and many other nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, William, Pedro Julio, Nestor, and Angel (Keco). Funeral Liturgy will take place at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 2, 2017, at St. Joseph Catholic Church 910 N. 6th Ave. Fr. Frank Voris OFM Cap will officiate with burial to follow in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at W.L.
