Gregory Scott Jackson, affectionately known as Greg, passed away suddenly on November 19, 2023, in Saginaw. He was born on November 25, 1965, in Flint, MI.
Greg had a passion for sports, particularly baseball and football, cheering on his favorite teams. He proudly graduated from Powers High School. Family was at the center of Greg's world, and he cherished every moment spent with them. His devotion to his loved ones was evident in the countless memories they shared together. One beloved tradition that brought immense happiness to Greg was his slurpee runs.
Besides his parents, Marshall and Ann (Arbanas) Jackson, Greg is preceded in death by his siblings William Jackson, Thomas Jackson, and Mary Jackson, his father-in-law Richard Stone, a great-niece Ryleigh Milam, and his brother-in-law Terry Milam.
Greg leaves behind a profound legacy of love and resilience. His memory will forever be treasured by his adoring wife Sharon whom he married on August 20, 1988. Together they built a life filled with countless adventures and unwavering commitment.
Greg's children Jory Jackson, Joshua Jackson, Jacob (Jasmin) Jackson, and Bailey (Tommy Coulter) Jackson were a source of immense pride for him. Their accomplishments brought him immeasurable joy, and he supported their pursuits wholeheartedly.
In addition to his immediate family members, Greg is survived by his siblings Robert (Peggy) Jackson, Janet Jackson, Barbara Jackson, Steven Jackson, and Lynn Milam. Each of them held a special place in his heart, and their bonds were unbreakable. His mother-in-law: Judith Stone, his siblings-in-law: Karen (John) Stone, and Jennifer (Chris) Sparks.
Greg's nieces and nephews Mark (Amanda) Jackson, Tracey (Kevin) Hamlin, Jamie Jackson, Eric Jackson, Adam (Suzanne) Jackson, Margaret Jackson, Jacob Fogelberg, Jason Jackson, Stephanie Milam, Andrew (Dessa) Milam, Brendan (Amber) Jones, Dylan (Julie) Jones, Riley (Lana) Helmka, great nieces and nephews, relatives, friends, including his faithful canine friend, Sheldon.
