Gregory Allen Princinsky

Gregory "Greg" Allen Princinsky of Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved fiancé, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, July 15, 2024, at Covenant HealthCare - Harrison. He was 67 years old. Gregory Allen Princinsky was born on February 8, 1957, in Owosso, Michigan, to the late Joseph E. and Teresa M. (Baker) Princinsky. He attended Hemlock High School where he was the undefeated captain of the football team, graduating in 1975. Following graduation, Greg received a full-ride scholarship to play football and attended Northwood University; graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. He then proudly enlisted in the United States Navy serving from August 26, 1982, until his honorable discharge on August 25, 1986, and an additional two years in the Navy Reserve. Greg was employed as a contractor with Bar Tech, through Nexteer, where he was working on the rack and pinion steering for all the major automotive companies. He met the love of his life, Debra Lea Ackerman on July 7, 1995, and they've been inseparable for the last 29 years. An avid sport fan, Greg loved sports and would often heard cheering for his favorite teams, the Detroit Tigers and Lions. What he loved the most was spending time at home and occasionally going to the casino. Though Greg could be stubborn, he will forever be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and ability to make people laugh and smile.

Surviving are his fiancée, Debra Ackerman of Saginaw; step children: Jennifer Holik of Cadillac; Jason Guttmann of Saginaw; seven siblings: Ruth Ann Thomas of Saginaw, Betty Rowe of Saginaw, Linda (Ken) Keyser of Hemlock, Theresa (Tim) Sparks of Grand Rapids, Charlie (Kathy) Princinsky of Saginaw, John (Linda) Princinsky of Columbia, TN, and Brian Princinsky of Saginaw; and a Goddaughter, Teresa (Dr. Brett) Norman of Columbia. Also surviving are countless nieces, nephews, and friends, too numerous to list, but held closely to Greg's heart.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph E. and Teresa M. Princincsky; siblings: Catherine Kricher, Mary VanBuren, Joseph "Bobby" Princinsky, William Princinsky, Marsha Fraiser, and Daniel Princinsky.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Covenant HealthCare - Harrison 7th Floor Main for all the love and care they provided to Gregory and the family.
