Guadalupe “Lupe” Amaro, age 79, of Saginaw, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024. Guadalupe has gained his wings and reunited with his brother Emilio Amaro Sr, Trinidad Amaro, and Jose Amaro Jr.
Guadalupe was born in Mercedes Texas on September 8, 1944, to the late Jose and Juana (Vargas) Amaro. He lived most of his life in Saginaw, Michigan. Lupe, as many knew him, leaves memories with his nieces and nephews on his brother Emilio’s side, Adela (Sergio Rios) Amaro, Juan (Alicia) Amaro, Emilio (Maria) Amaro Jr. of Mercedes, Texas, Anita (Jesus) Aguirre of Uvalde, Texas, Norma Soto , Virginia Amaro, Jose Luis Amaro, Hipolito (Genn) Amaro, Ruben Amaro, Lazaro “Larry” Amaro, and Ricardo Amaro; sister-in-law Alberta Amaro; sisters in Chicago, Illinois, Juana Paz, Gloria Perez, Blanca Esparza, Juanita D. Nunez, Nena Amaro; brothers Jose Luis Amaro and Leonardo Delgado.
Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 910 N. 6th St., Saginaw, where the Funeral Liturgy will follow at 11:00 a.m. Rev.
