Harold H. "Chip" Hiser

Beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend passed away on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at the age of 68.9 years. The son of the late Harold H. and Laura B. (Seeger) Hiser was born on August 29, 1949 in Saginaw. Harold graduated from Merill High School, the class of 1968. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from St. Marys of Michigan working as a security guard. He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church. Harold enjoyed volunteering at Messiah and raising horses, his dogs and especially cherished time spent with his children and grandchildren. Surviving are his children Jason Hiser, Leane (Douglas) Priest, grandchildren: Hunter Priest, Parker Priest, his brother Greg (Jean) Hiser, and many relatives and friends. Besides his parents, Harold was predeceased by his sister Brenda Patten. Cremation has taken place. A remembrance service will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Richland Township Park. Pets and children are welcome to join in celebrating Harolds life with the family.
