Passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at Covenant-Cooper. Age 71 years.
The son of the late Viola R. (Wenzel) and George W. Anderson was born July 7, 1950 in Saginaw, Michigan. He graduated from Hemlock High School, Class of 1969. He married Sheila Zieroff, October 13, 1973. She survives him. Harold was employed by General Motors, Delphi retiring in 2001 with 32 years of service. He was a member of U.A.W. Local #467. He was also employed by Curry Dairy, Trinklein Farms and Krueger Farms . He was of the Lutheran Faith and a member of the A-Tractive Tractor Pull, Ithaca, Michigan. He enjoyed boating, water skiing, camping and was an avid Detroit Red Wings hockey fan. He coached Little League and girls softball with the Hemlock Parks and Recreation.
Surviving besides his wife, Sheila, are three children and their spouse, Amy and Mark McAlvey; Jonathan Anderson; Anna and Mark Bullock; four grandchildren, Gage Moeggenberg; Carly Argersinger and her husband Jaren; Madyson McAlvey; Vera Bullock; a special friend, Corey Ackerman; two brothers, Michael Anderson and his wife, Alice; Kenneth Anderson; a sister-in-law, Shirley Anderson; an uncle and his wife, Kenneth and Shirley Wenzel; many nieces, nephews; his mother-in-law, Shirley Zieroff; ten God-children. He was predeceased by a brother, Wesley Anderson, a sister, Sharon Gerard and a sister and brother-in-law Dorothy and Edward Zieroff.
The funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. Saginaw. Rev. Richard E. Mundt will officiate with burial in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may visit with family from 3:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday.
