Harold William Lapprich Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Saturday, May 19, 2018, at his home. Age 90 years. The son of the late Katherine (Krause) and Michael Lapprich was born October 21, 1927 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Rosemary A. Tepatti, November 29, 1947. His wife of 70 years survives him. Harold served with the U.S. Army during WWII in Korea. He was employed by Severance Tool, had owned and operated a Standard Oil Gas Station, and retired from General Motors, Saginaw Steering Gear, with 20 years of service. He was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church and Preschool. Harold enjoyed working in his yard and flowers, camping and traveling. Surviving besides his wife, Rosemary, are two sons, one daughter and their spouses, Gary W. and Dara Lapprich; Susan Lee and Tim Unger; Harold M. and Ruth Ann Lapprich; his grandchildren, Kimberly Cowling, Tara Popow, T. J. Unger; Jonathon Unger; Kevin Lapprich; Sulena Koterba; sixteen great grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Phillip Tepatti; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Jenean Olsen, a grandson, Michael Lapprich; six sisters and two brothers. The funeral service will take place at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at St. Mark Lutheran Church and Preschool, 2565 N. Miller Rd. Saginaw, MI 48609. Rev. Edward A. Meyer will officiate with Military Honors under the auspices of V.F.W. Post #1859. Cremation will follow. Friends may call at the church from 10:30 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the funeral service.
