Helen Anita Stedry

Helen A. Stedry Frankenmuth, Michigan Formerly of Bridgeport Passed away Saturday, June 8, 2013, at the Cartwright Care Center. Age 88 years. The daughter of the late Linda (Reif) and Peter Weinmueller was born October 17, 1924 in Frankenmuth, Michigan. She married Roy F. Stedry, January 8, 1946. He passed away April 11, 1999. She was a longtime member of St. James Lutheran Church until it's closing. She served with the U.S. Army W.A.C. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, crocheting, crafts and had served as the President of the P.T.A. Surviving are four children and their spouses, Roy R. and Nancy Stedry, Birch Run, MI; Sandy and Duke Snyder; Mary Jo and John Busciglio, all of Florida; Shawn Rottiers, East Lansing, MI; Ten grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; a sister, a brother and sister-in-law, Marie Keech; Jack and Lorraine Weinmueller; several nieces and nephews. A brother and a sister, Peter Weinmueller and Linda Gillig have predeceased her. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie Hwy. Rev. Rachel Laughlin will officiate with burial in Blumfield Township Cemetery. Friends may call at the Chapel from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Monday. www.casefuneralhome.com
