Helen Gross

Helen Gross Wheeler, Michigan Passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017. Age 93 years. Helen was born Mary 14, 1923 to the late Arthur A. and Hattie (Krueger) Tessin. She married Ronald L. Gross, October 10, 1944. Mr. and Mrs. Gross were lifelong farmers in Wheeler. Ronald passed away August 11, 2009. Helen is survived by two sons and their wives, Ronald E. (Karen) Gross, Merrill, MI; Harvey A. (Denise) Gross, Cleburne, TX; seven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Charles (Dolly) Gross, Coleman, MI; sister-in-law, Beverly Gross, Mt. Pleasant, MI; her cousin and best friend, Irma Doan, Wheeler, MI; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Mrs. Gross was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Alvin and Eldon Tessin. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 23, 2017, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, in Merrill. Rev. Larry Warsinski will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the Chapel from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday. Mrs. Gross' family wish to give a special thanks to the staff of Schnepp's Retirement Center for the wonderful care given to Helen for the past five years.
