Helen J. Nothelfer

Passed away Sunday, October 17, 2021, at Union Court, St. Charles. Age 94 years.
The daughter of the late Selma (Stroebel) and Frank Nothelfer was born December 27, 1926, in Hemlock, Michigan. She graduated from Hemlock High School. Helen was employed as a Manager for Michigan Bell Telephone Company retiring in 1982 with 36 years of service. She was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church, its Altar Guild, and the Telephone Pioneers. She enjoyed traveling, sewing and reading.
Surviving are her nieces and nephews, Ted Luzenske; Jeffery and Jennifer Nothelfer; Joy Kaufman; Daniel and June Nothelfer; Patricia Zuzula; Gregory Nothelfer; Kimberly and Rev. Carl Trosien; Karen and Robert Fiting; her good friends, Donna and Otto Pretzer. She lived with and was very close to the Frost Family. She was predeceased by two sisters, two brothers and their spouses, Margaret and Ted Luzenske; Harold and (Esther) Ava Nothelfer; Donald and Fay Nothelfer; Betty and George Boyd; nieces, Judith Anaman and Karla Boyd; and her good friend, Edwina Frost.
Committal services will take place at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 22, 2021, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Chapel, Rev. Carl Trosien will officiate. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the Saginaw Rescue Mission or help someone in need or an act of kindness in memory of Helen. Helen’s family wish to thank the staff and caregivers of Union Court and Cardinal Hospice for their care, kindness and support.
