Passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Hoyt Nursing and Rehab Center, Saginaw. Age 99 years and 51 weeks. She was a lifelong resident of Richland Township, Saginaw County and was the daughter of the late August and Pauline (Wenzel) Frederick. Helen was born August 29, 1918. She was confirmed in St. Johns Lutheran Church, Hemlock, and graduated from Hemlock High School in 1936. She married Leonard Wolfgram, December 3, 1938. Leonard predeceased her April 21, 2008. Upon marrying she was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church where she was the senior member of their Ladies Aid Society and a member of the church quilt guild. She was a homemaker, gardener, and engaged in farming throughout her life. Surviving are two sons, Dale Wolfgram, Grand Blanc, MI; Paul (Karen) Wolfgram, Fort Wayne, IN; four grandchildren, Mark (Vesna) Wolfgram; Tod Wolfgram; Tricia (Robert) Ebner; Kimberly (Mark) Sweet, and four great grandchildren, Madeline Wolfgram, Richard Ebner, Joseph and John Sweet. She was the youngest of ten children and was predeceased by four brothers and five sisters. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday August 27, 2018, St. Peter Lutheran Church, 2461 N. Raucholz Rd. Hemlock. Rev. Dr. William Morris will officiate with burial in Richland Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the W.L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd, Shields, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday and at the Church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service. In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider St. Peter Lutheran Church or the charity of their choice.
