Passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at the age of 94 years. The daughter of the late Archie and Anna (Phelps) Clark was born on August 25, 1923 in Saginaw County. She married Jack L. Davis on April 27, 1942; he predeceased her on Feb. 25, 1971. Helen retired from Merrill Community Schools in 1988. She was a devoted wife and mother, caring for her family. Surviving are her sons: Douglas (Terry) Davis, Lyle (Marcia) Davis, Maynard (Linda) Davis all of Merrill; Mark (Sharon) Davis of Saginaw; Thomas (Anna) Davis, James Davis all of Merrill; her daughters: Jacklyn (Adrian) Ostrander of St. Louis; Sue (Joseph) Benjamin of Sanford; Barbara (Joseph) Clark of Au Gres; Carol (Ron) Eurich of Midland; Helen Sanchez, Margaret Franklin both of Manchester; Kathryn Bergkamp of Saginaw; 25 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, 41 great-great-grandchildren, her sisters: Donna Beiser, Nancy (Don) Milwrick, and many other relatives and friends. Besides her husband, Helen was predeceased by her son Robert Davis, her son-in-laws: Robert Midcalf, Jeffrey Bergkamp, her granddaughter Deanna Thurston, and her sisters Roberta Federspiel, and Margie Londry. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 8, 2018 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel in Merrill. Rev. Richard Gossett will officiate with burial at Lakefield Township Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral chapel on Thursday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
