She later worked for United Financial Credit Union in Bridgeport as a receptionist and the Saginaw ISD as a dispatcher for the transportation department. Helen was a faithful and lifelong member of St. Francis de Salle Parish, taking great pride of her parents being charter members. She served as a Board Member with the Bridgeport-Spaulding Public Schools for four years, the last year being president. Helen also served on the Board of Directors of A&D HealthCare. She and Jerry were Mid-Michigan Board Members of the NAIC “Better Investing”, creating two local investing clubs: “Sitting on your Assets” and “Well Stocked”. Together, for their children and grandchildren, they created a family investment club, “Hot Tamales Investment Club”. Above all, Helen loved spending time with her family, especially traveling with her grandchildren throughout the country.
