Frick, Henry A. Saginaw, Michigan Beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at the age of 93 years. The son of the late Henry A. and Emilie A. (Mueller) Frick was born on September 2, 1919 in Mt. Pleasant. Henry served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He married Gloria Ann Morningstar on April 6, 1946; she survives him. Henry owned a plastering business and also worked as a school custodian and maintenance for Swan Valley Public Schools. He enjoyed reading, traveling, visiting with family and gardening. Surviving besides his wife, Gloria are their children; James (Mary Ann) Frick, Connie (Dave) Homan, Tom (Marie) Frick, grandchildren; Stacy (Rick) Newbold, Melissa (Adam) Clark, Andy (Danielle) Frick, Jonathan (Paige Seibert) Homan, Jennifer (Norman) Peldety, Mackenzie Frick, Deanna, Carolyn, Damian, Kyle, David, Colleen Fleischmann, 7 great-grandchildren and his siblings; Rose Spiekerman, Florence Markewicz, Bob (Donna) Frick, John Frick and many nieces and nephews. Henry was predeceased by a grandson Christopher Homan and sisters Marlene Crampton, and Helen Frick. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Francis Home and Covenant Cooper for the excellent care they gave Henry. A memorial service will take place at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Second Presbyterian Church, 2665 Midland Rd. Rev. James Neumann will officiate. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 10:30a.m. until the time of the memorial service.
