Ruppel, Henry A. Saginaw, Michigan Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2014, at the age of 79 years. He was born May 30, 1935, in Saginaw, the son of the late Henry and Mildred (Falkenhagen) Ruppel. Henry is survived by his wife of fifty-eight years Ann (Jacobs) Ruppel, and by his children Deborah (Bruce) Cady, Douglas (Lindy) Ruppel , Jeffrey (Gail) Ruppel, David (Anastasia) Ruppel, Timothy (Jennifer) Ruppel, and Dr. Heather (Dr. Vik Mali) Ruppel. He was predeceased by sons Daniel Ruppel and Matthew Ruppel. Henry had fifteen grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; sisters Sue Morley and Mary Ann (Ron) Ebenhoeh, brother Greg (Chris) Ruppel. He worked for thirty-four years at Saginaw Steering Gear, retiring in 1987 Henry enjoyed fishing, camping, snowmobiling, sports, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren. He started the hockey program at Swan Valley High School and coached there for several years. He also coached Little League Baseball in Saginaw Township. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Road, where his family will receive friends from 6:00 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, and then on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Rev. Robert Allmann will officiate.
