Henry William Chris Miller, Jr.

Miller, Jr., Henry William Chris St. Charles, Michigan Passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Cartwright Care Center at the age of 76 years. Henry was born on January 21, 1938 in Saginaw. He married Clara J. Neuenfeldt on September 2, 1961; she survives him. Henry served in the U.S. Army. He retired from GM in 1992 after 34 years of service. Henry was a member of Christ Ev. Lutheran Church in Shields. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking. Surviving besides his wife of 52 years, Clara are their children: Greg (Marsha) Miller, Jane (Frank) Maraskine, Julie (David) Louchart, Carla Miller, grandchildren: Stephanie (Justin) Liepert, Rachael and David Miller, Sarah, Emily and Elizabeth Maraskine, a sister Nebbie Kushmaul and 21 nieces and nephews. Henry was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Beatrice Miller, his sister Virginia Ross and his brother, Gerald Miller. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Christ Ev. Lutheran Church, 8795 Ederer Rd. Rev Wade Johnston will officiate with private burial at Garfield Township Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at W. L. Case and Company, 201 North Miller Rd. on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
