Herbert Carl Kuske

Rev. Herbert Carl Kuske Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Thursday, October 24, 2013, at the Cartwright Care Residence. Age 89 years. The son of the late Carl C. and Adeline G. (Kortegast) Kuske was born April 1, 1924 in Mobridge, South Dakota. He married Lorraine Louise Spiekerman, June 24, 1950. She passed away October 12, 2006. He was a graduate of Northwestern College, Watertown, WI and Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary, Mequon, Wisconsin. He served churches in Kenosha, WI; Mobridge, SD; Stevensville, MI; Abita Springs, LA; Owensville, MO and at Christ Lutheran Church in Shields. He served on the Michigan District Mission Board. Surviving are one sister and two brothers, Helen and Marvin Radtke; Paul and Lois Kuske; Robert (Bob) and Barbara Kuske; several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 28, 2013, at Christ Lutheran Church, 8795 Ederer Rd. Pastor Wade Johnston will officiate with entombment in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens at 2:30 p.m. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. from 2:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday and then at the Church from 10:00 a.m. Monday until the time of the funeral service.
