Herbert J. Koch

Herbert J. Koch Saginaw, Michigan Passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2017, age 88 years. He was born on April 23, 1929, son of the late Carl and Rufina (Fauver) Koch, in Saginaw. Herbert married Shirley Schneider on February 18, 1950, she survives him. He retired from John E. Green Co. after many years of service and was a member of Local #85 Plumbers and Steamfitters. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, raising pheasants, wine making and spending time with his family. Besides his loving wife Shirley, he is survived by his children, Sandra (Lewis) Sandel, John (Lori) Koch and Eric Koch; his grandchildren, Leigh Behring, Brittany Koch and Hunter Koch; one great grandson, William Behring. He was predeceased by his siblings, Virgie Matusenski, Frieda Frontiera, Henry Koch, Grace Schuamann and Anna Mae Stokes. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Rev. Sue Hand will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
