McMall, Howard R. Saginaw, MI Went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at the age of 86 years. The son of the late Elmer C. and Effie Y. (O'Dell) McMall was born on April 8, 1930 in Saginaw. He served in the U.S. Army as a Sargent with the 5th Armed Division during the Korean War. He married Nancy Lou Luttenbacher on July 28, 1951; she survives him. Howard retired from General Motors in 1987; after 37 years of service. He was a member of the State Street United Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge #77. Howard was an avid outdoorsmen, enjoying hunting, fishing, and especially loved to ride his Honda ATV. He enjoyed helping others, and often helped family, neighbors and friends with fixing anything around their homes. Surviving besides his wife of 64 years, Nancy are their children: Shelley (Robert) Boettcher, Jeffrey (Michele) McMall, grandchildren: Matthew Boettcher, Russell Morley, Mark Boettcher, Kelley Feltman, Christine Black, Stephanie McMall, Jacob McMall, great-grandchildren: Taylor Boettcher, Nora Morley and Rusty Morley and many other relatives, friends and Army buddies. Besides his parents, Howard was predeceased by a daughter, Amy Morley and two brothers: Allen McMall and Floyd McMall. Funeral service will take place at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 21, 2016 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Monique Turner will officiate with burial later at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Military honors will be rendered by V.F.W. Post #1859 on Thursday. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service.
