Irene Cruz Garcia Bay City, Michigan Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister went home to the Lord on Saturday, November 18, 2017, at the age of 79 years. Irene was born September 3, 1938, in Saginaw to the late Marcelina (Coronado) and Victoriano Reyes Cruz. She enjoyed gardening, camping, and fishing in Old Orchard Park in Oscoda. She liked watching the birds, mainly bluebirds. She was fond of travelling especially to Las Vegas. Most of all she loved spending time with her family particularly her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be missed by her husband of 38 years, Rudy Garcia; her children, Mary (Tom Alvarado) Flores, Anthony (Sheila) Flores, Abraham Flores, Carl (Marcia) Flores, and Renee (Kevin) Kilgore; grandchildren, Thomas Stahl, Douglas and Timothy Richardson, Sarah and Nathan Flores, Alexandra and Kathlyn Kilgore; 7 great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Ramona Cazares, Shirley Davis, Margaret Cruz, Alfredo Velma, Santos Cruz, and Jose "Manuel" Cruz. She was predeceased by her grandson Carl Stahl; and her siblings, Jessie Bragas Brown, Delphine Ornealas, Betty Cruz, Maxcimino Cruz, and Guadalupe Cruz. Funeral services will take place at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at W.L. Case & Company 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until the service.
