Passed away Friday, October 15, 2021, at St. Mary’s Hospital. Age 86 years.
The son of the late Sylvia Ann (Samek) and Ivor Lynn Dungey was born May 17, 1935 in Saginaw, Michigan. He graduated from Arthur Hill High School, Class of 1953. He was married to Janice Ann Rosien, May 5, 1956. She passed away October 5, 2015. Ivor was employed as Meat Manager for Kroger retiring with 34 years of service. He was a member of Ames United Methodist Church, the Arthur Hill High School Letterman’s Club, the Loyal Order of the Moose #82 and the Fordney Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and bowling.
Surviving are three children and their spouses, Paula and Randall Felsing; Mary and Dave Hozeska; Steve and Michele Dungey; six grandchildren and their spouses, Gretchen Leo; Blake and Nicole Felsing; Nolan and Brittany Felsing; Lyndsey and Joe Darby; Jessica and Brian Vasold; Hunter Dungey; eight great grandchildren,
Jack and Lauryn Leo, Brooke, Kennedy, Bentley and Rylan Felsing, Madison and Easton Darby; a sister, Kathy Ross.
The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Bill Bodnar will officiate with burial in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may visit a the funeral home from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 10:00 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the funeral service.
