Jack A. Kessler

Went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at the age of 53 years. The son of the late John and Eileen (James) Kessler was born on July 4, 1963 in Saginaw. He owned a deer processing company and worked as a subcontractor. He married Shelly Austin on July 23, 2004; she survives him. Jack was a member of Shield of Faith Ministries. He enjoyed camping, riding his motorcycle and most especially loved time with his grandchildren and family. Surviving besides his wife, Shelly are his children: Tammy Kesemeyer, Jack (Kristen) Kesemeyer Jr., Anthony (Amanda) Kesemeyer, Aaron Austin, Geoffrey Austin, his grandchildren: Jasmine, Hunter, Morgan, Jack III, McKayla, Angelina, Wyatt, Brooklyn, Harmonie, Austin, his siblings: Barbara (Burke) Halldorson, Joseph (Connie) Kessler, Greg Kessler, Robert Kessler, Mary (Ed) Beebe, Mike (Mary) Kessler, Kathy (Jim) Wolf, brother-in-law Jim Horney and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Jack was predeceased by his parents, his sister Diane Horney, and grandson Collin Kesemeyer. A celebration of Jacks life will take place at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Shield of Faith Ministries, 10322 Swan Creek Rd., Saginaw. Pastors Weldon Townsend and Mike Maike will officiate. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the wishes of the family.
