Jack Junior Bull

Jack Junior Bull Kalamazoo, Michigan Formerly of Saginaw Passed peacefully, at his home in Kalamazoo, on August 27, 2017, surrounded by loved ones. Although he was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan for most of his life, he spent the past 5 years happily living with his granddaughter Heather Ledlow and her family is his own apartment attached to their home. Here he could watch the wildlife in her yard including horses, wild turkeys, deer, dogs and chickens. He loved to be surrounded by family members and watch his great-grandchildren swim and play. Born to John and Edna Bull on July 27, 1926, Jack was raised on a farm in Bridgeport, Michigan and had a full and wonderful life. He married Donna Lou Mills on October 30, 1948 and they had two children, Michael and Victoria. Jack was enlisted with the Marine Corp during World War II and stationed out of Parris Island, entrusted with the responsibility of guarding the White House. Jack worked very hard for his family all his life and retired from Bruce Cartage. Once retired he had a very active social life, and was extremely involved in senior center of Saginaw. After moving to Kalamazoo in his later years, he became active at the Oakland Senior Center until his stroke in 2015. He had many, many friends including a very special friend named Barbara. It was very easy for Jack to make friends, as he made them wherever he went and is loved and remembered by all of those people. He enjoyed playing card games, drinking coffee, and telling stories. He was an avid Detroit Tigers Fan and enjoyed many sports. Jack was preceded in death by his four siblings, Marge, Ken, Bill and Carolyn; his wife Donna Lou in 2004; and his son Mike in 2006. He is survived by his only daughter Victoria (Chuck) Boos and his daughter in law Vickie (Mike) Bull. He also leaves the legacy of his grandchildren; Scott (Rebekah) Boos, Hilarie (Patrick) Eddy, Heather (Aaron) Ledlow, Brian (Emily) Boos, Kelly Bull, Kathy Bull, Jon Bull (fianc Megan), Jason Bull (Kelly), Josh Bull and Kristin Bull as well as his 17 great- grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. His grandchildren often speak of their fond memories visiting his farmhouse while growing up and will miss their Papa very much. Memorial service will take place at 12:00 Noon on Friday, September 1, 2017 at W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Rev.
