Jack Verlynn Findlay
St. Charles, Formerly of Bridgeport
Loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother passed away October 30, 2021. Age 90 years. He was born September 8, 1931 in Saginaw to the late Ruth Hallman and Verlynn Findlay. Jack married Joyce Lee on July 16, 1952. They were married for 55 years until her death in 2007. He proudly served in the United States Air Force for four years. Jack retired after 30 years of service as an engineer for the Nodular Iron Plant of General Motors.
He leaves three children, Christina Ruth Lawhorn, Michael John (Susie) Findlay and Kathleen Elizabeth Waterman; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and sisters Marietta Bell-Scriber and Gail Bielskis.
Along with his wife, Joyce Lee Hogan, he is predeceased by a sister Donna Klich.
Honoring Jack’s wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at W. L. Case & Company, 201 North Miller Road, Saginaw. Pastor Ronald Sinclair will officiate. Military honors and burial will take place under the auspices of the United States Air Force and American Legion Post #439 in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00-8:00 pm on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at the funeral chapel as well as from 10:00 until the time of service Wednesday.
