Jacquelin A. Pogoreski Carrollton, Michigan Our beloved mother, grandmother, and sister joined her late husband, daughter, and the Lord on January 14, 2017, at the age of 87 years. Jacquelin was born June 1, 1929, to the late Meta Schaeding. She married Peter Pogoreski on July 28, 1948; he predeceased her July 21, 2009. Jacquelin worked for 32 years in the housekeeping department, later as a supervisor, for St. Luke's Hospital. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Most of all she cherished spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her children, Randy Pogoreski and Renee Schomaker; grandchildren, Chad (Jennifer) Cox, Julie (Dusty Verbeke) Wilson, Katherine (Jon) Villanueva, Brent (Alana Daniels) Pogoreski, Eric (Crystal Reinhardt) Pogoreski, Nicole (Jon Morse) Schomaker; 18 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Ardith Allman and Beverly Bush; and son-in-law, Michael Cox. She was predeceased by her daughter, Roxann Cox; grandparents, Frederick and Bertha (Kramer) Schaeding; and brothers-in-law, Harold Bush and Darrell Allman. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 19, 2017, at W.L. Case & Company 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Art and Cindy Smith will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and again on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
