Passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at New Hope Bay Assisted Living. Age 89 years.
The daughter of the late Elizabeth (McDonaugh) and Melvin Schomaker was born March 24, 1931 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Robert Otto Fischer, July 12, 1952. They shared 67 happy years of marriage. Robert passed away November 22, 2019. Jacqueline was a member of Our Saviour Lutheran Church. She enjoyed a quiet life and loved spending time with her family, always making holiday and family gatherings special.
Surviving are her four children, Carl (Lorna) Fischer, Kathy (Robert) Buda, Deborah Fischer, and Robert (Karen) Fischer; five grandchildren, Adam (Edith) Fischer, Ashley (Timothy) Kinnamon, Kathryn Fischer, Jordan Fischer, and Jeffrey Fischer; five great-grandchildren, Avery Fischer, Kayle Fischer, Ainsley Fischer, Harley Birchett, and Harper Birchett; a brother, Richard Schomaker and a sister, Lois Didier; a sister-in-law, Clara Fehrman; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a great grandson, Grayson Birchett and a brother, David Schomaker.
The funeral service will take place at 1:30 p.m. Monday, December 14, 2020, at Our Saviour Lutheran Church, 2525 Hemmeter Rd. Saginaw. Rev.
