Jacqueline Marie "Jackie" Lown of Saginaw, Michigan
Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 12, 2020, at Great Lakes Rehab Center. She was 76 years old. Jacqueline Marie Dubay was born on October 11, 1943, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Milton and Irene (Mahan) Dubay. She married Claude Lown, Jr. in August 1957; he preceded her in death on July 14, 1972. Jackie was employed for over 35 years as a legal secretary at the Law Office of Thomas L. Frank. In her younger years, she enjoyed bowling and participated on a league. Jackie also enjoyed playing Bingo and going to the casino. Above all, she loved and cherished the time she spent with her family and friends. Jackie will forever be remembered for her fierce independence, wisdom, and for always remaining kind and goodhearted.
Surviving are two daughters and two sons: Jeannie (Terry) Schultz of Freeland; Carol (Tito) Gauna of Chesaning; Donald Lown of Saginaw; Robert Lown of Saginaw; 10 grandchildren: Jason Schultz, Cortney (Kevin) Buckner, Lynsay (George) Weber, Anthony Rodarte, Tito Gauna, Jr., Tim Sian, Stefanie Darabos, Robert Lown, II, Tevis Lown, and Kenneth A. Lown; 11 great-grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters: Cecil (Carol) Dubay, Art (Sandy) Dubay, Russ (Linda) Dubay, Lavonne Cramer, and Marlene Pickens; sister-in-law, Elsie Dubay.
She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth J. Lown; two brothers, Milton and Richard Dubay; sister, Sharon Johnson; father and mother-in-law, Orilla and Claude Lown, Sr.
A Funeral Service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 17, 2020, at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Rev. Jeanne Lapine will officiate. Burial will follow at Spaulding Township Cemetery. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral chapel on Friday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
